Earlier this year I published my favourite views of London for under £6 which turned out to be rather popular. Since then I’ve discovered a couple more places with amazing views of London that I wanted to share with you all.
This one was suggested by Kasha from Lines of Escape and it was an excellent recommendation! Alexandra Palace is an entertainment venue, typically used for exhibitions, music concerts and conferences. It’s location on a hill in Alexandra Park means it offers a wide view of the London skyline. There’s also a boating lake, deer enclosure and vast parkland and gardens to explore so it makes for a great day out.
Located on Shooter’s Hill in south-east London, this little castle offers stunning panoramic views from the top. There’s limited space at the top so they only let a maximum of 10 people up at a time. If it’s a busy day you may have to wait a little while but it’s definitely worth it! There’s a tea room at the base of the castle so you can always enjoy a slice of cake while you wait.
Please let me know if you’ve come across any other great vantage points in London, I’d love to see them for myself!
