After almost five years exclusively using a Canon DSLR, I’ve recently switched over to the Sony A7R. I love my 550D and it has served me well over the years but I had been wanting to purchase a full-frame DSLR for some time. The main thing that held me back, besides the cost, is that the Canon full-frame cameras are all bigger and heavier than my 550D. It has been hard enough travelling with my 550D when you’re limited to one carry-on bag with airlines like Easyjet, so obviously the prospect of getting an even bigger camera was not ideal...

I’ve owned a GoPro Hero 3 for almost two years now and I love it for my skiing and diving holidays. They aren’t the easiest cameras to use though and they come with a bit of a learning curve so I thought I’d share a few tips I’ve picked up along the way. Choosing the right mount I use a GoPole Reach for underwater filming. The great thing about this pole is that it floats when it’s fully extended, so if you drop it, it won’t sink to the bottom of the ocean...
